This manufacturing organisation requires a strong team leader and people manager with a HR Generalist background to deliver HR/ER services to the company. They require an experienced professional to work across a range of HR functions with particular emphasis on performance management, training and development of the existing HR team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • The coordination and managment of HR projects
  • Liaising with the IR Manager on Industrial Relations issues 
  • Support, guide and advise Managers and the HR team
  • Ensure legal requirements and policies are current and compliant with HR/employment legislation, preparing and updating HR policies & procedures as required
  • Act as the main point of contact for all employees regarding HR/ER queries
  • Managing a team of HR Generalists and Administrators with responsibility for the delivery of HR/ER services to the company
  • Performance management, training & development of the HR team
  • HR reporting as required to the Department Head
  • Coordinate and/or carry out investigations and disciplinary hearings as issues arise
  • Implementation and continual development of HR strategy to reflect current and future company requirements

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a multinational environment
  • Good management experience
  • Recognised HR qualifications
  • PC  and Microsoft Office proficient
