My Client is now recruiting for an experienced HR Officer who will support all aspects of the Human Resources function :-

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive HR support across the group
  • Assist in the Recruitment & Selection process for all employees (organising interviews, reference checking, issuing of contracts and all new hire paperwork)
  • Track and facilitate Probation process  and annual Performance Appraisal processes with management and staff
  • Absence Management – including co-ordinating Occupational Health services
  • Work with the payroll team to ensure all relevant weekly and monthly changes to pay are made
  • Ensure up to date policies and procedures for the company are maintained with the assistance of Head of HR
  • Maintain and update Org Charts for the Group
  • Building and maintaining HR content on Company Intranet.
  • Preparation and distribution of Staff Newsletter
  • Ownership and maintenance of the HRIS system TMS
  • Creation and distribution of HR reports from TMS
  • Regular Reporting to senior management of key metrics, e.g.  absence, turnover, accidents/incidents, disciplinary
  • Employee administration including maintenance of physical and electronic personnel files
  • Keeping company pension scheme and other benefit details up to date and managing new entrants
  • Provide general HR support to colleagues and management
  • Support staff with general employment queries
  • Ad hoc HR administrative tasks and HR projects as and when required

Skills, Attributes & Experience

  • Relevant third level qualification in HR and/or Business
  • CIPD qualification an advantage
  • 3+ years’ experience within a professional HR environment
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of computer literacy including comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS, including TMS
  • Proficient in multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Capable of working independently with limited supervision
