Finance Assistant – 6 month Contract

Our Client, an innovative and dynamic organisation is looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team for a 6 month contract. The organisation is seeking a structured problem solver who has previous experience working in a similar environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a person that is up for new challenges keen to develop in their career. As a Finance Assistant you must be a positive team player with a great eye for detail. Proactive and diligent, you must also have the ability to work on your own initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable/ Credit Control.
  • Assisting in general accounts preparation
  • Accounts Payable
  • Processing of financial statements.
  • Provide assistance with various financial filing requirements.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested / applicable 


  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, as well as proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Excellent English written and oral skills
  • Processing/data entry experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, as well as proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management required.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong team player that works positively with colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and go the “extra-mile” to get the job done.
