As a key member of the Global Engineering team you will support with the design, build and validation of new equipment platforms in accordance with the needs of R&D and Operations. You will maintain global alignment with best practices and challenge where appropriate.


Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Complete conceptual and detailed mechanical design of parts and assemblies
  • Gather customer needs and compose equipment specifications
  • Fabricate, build and assemble small scale equipment
  • Install and test R&D and Operations equipment
  • Assist with the deployment of Global Engineering equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on R&D equipment
  • Act as project manager for small projects


Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years maintenance experience
  • Strong electro-mechanical skills
  • Ability to read and create electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge in the safe use of shop equipment
  • Interpersonal savvy
  • Decision making
  • Personal learning
  • Drive for results
  • Customer focus



  • Degree in mechatronics or equivalent
  • Part design and fabrication
  • Proficiency in solidworks, EPDM and Autocad
