They wish to recruit a Business Development Manager to focus on direct sales and manage partner relationships within Ireland. This role will be responsible for leading and driving national business development opportunities.
This person will be responsbile for managing and developing an existing client base, with support, while driving new business activity through proactive research, planning and engagement. Ideal candidate will be a team member who can manage relationships with a range of stakeholders and who can deliver quality care services within a range of identified opportunities.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this is an exciting and challenging role where you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with an existing portfolio of clients while developing prospective business opportunities to drive sales and partner alliance.
Business and sales strategy development together with supporting customer retention planning and efforts.
Leading, managing and developing the strategy with a focus on achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual targets. Achieving all revenue targets and objectives in line with corporate goals.
Assessing the potential for new account managed businesses through proactive business engagement. Manage the sales process for new prospects, from initial contact to closure.
Develop and support necessary marketing initiatives to enable lead generation and prospect identification.
Producing accurate and timely weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecasts and planning activity.
Owning a pipeline management processes, and tracking of results activity.
Providing the Management Team with market analysis and feedback to shape future business direction. Conduct market research to identify suitable prospects for targeting of direct sales activity.
Be proactive member of tender teams as required.
Extensive B2B business development and sales experience, in the region of 7-10 years+ within the service industry.
Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales goals and targets.
Progressive experience in sales management roles 5 years+
Experience of producing and presenting sales forecasts.
Proven track record of building client relationships and business partnerships.
Influencing, persuading and negotiation skills with high-level presenting abilities.
Excellent written communication skills showing competency in material presentation and content, marketing and sales concepts and the ability to articulate information.
Experience of the healthcare/service industry an advantage.
