Our Client is seeking an experienced Bakery Technologist with a passion and a creative flair for all bread related products. You will be considered as the company expert on products and will be an essential part of the team.

Bakery Technologist responsibilities:

  • Analyse and evaluate the process performance of the plant in terms of product quality, process efficiency and reliability
  • Develop and implement manufacturing standards, improvements and savings for existing products and processes
  • Deliver a consistent flour and dough quality for the products made in the plant
  • Implement new products into the plant in partnership with Sales and NPD
  • Fulfilling the role as a troubleshooter 
  • Managing and supporting internal production trials
  • Give training on processing, baking technologies and process improvements
  • Develop a capability as the flour, dough, baking and manufacturing processing expert for the plant


Bakery Technologist requirements:

  • University or Institute of Technology degree in a technical, engineering or food technology discipline
  • Industrial Bakery Training with preferably two years manufacturing experience in this area, preferably in the food sector
